BRUSSELS MEETS BRIGHTON Exhibition THE SHUNT / London / UK / April - May 2008 120 artists / 11 metahubers / 13 simultaneous projections / radio broadcasted / 4 music stages For one week 120 artists have met and performed real time improvised collaborative creative work in the Shunt. The Metahub was gathering in real time audio signal and video feed from all performances in the venue (about 30 different rooms, 4 stages, one dj booth, one theatre) through, a massive A/V network, mobile camera operators, wireless cameras and cctv's. 5 Visual artists, VJ's and hackers and 6 audio artists, musicians, radio artists and sound engineers, have been able to play with any signal, process them, exchange the streams, reprocess them infinitely in real time and broadcast it on 13 different screens, monitors, embodied screens, listening rooms, stages, radio (RadioReverb). |
